The Parksville Lawn Bowling Club is hosting its annual Jack and Jill Pairs Tournament this Friday through Sunday.
The women will skip the first and fourth games, while the men square off in the third and fourth games.
“There’s going to be lots of blue and pink in evidence on the greens this weekend,” said PLBC’s Carol Bucyk, adding “rain or shine, the club will have 44 teams playing.”
The action gets underway at 9:30 a.m. Friday with games running all weekend. The public is always invited to come and watch and admission is free.
The Parksville Lawn Bowling Club is located at 149 E. Stanford.
