Katie Stagg third in BC Games gymnastics event

Parksville's Katie Stagg had her personal best performance in Vernon in the Vault competition, during the BC Winter Games last week.

Katie Stagg won a bronze at the BC Winter Games in Vernon last week.

Parksville's Katie Stagg won a bronze at the BC Winter Games in Vernon last week.

She performed her personal best to place third in the Vault competition. Stagg was representing Zone 6 on the gymnastics team and is a Grade 8 student at Springwood Middle School who competes in the Level 3 Division.

Stagg's teammate and sister Cassidy Stagg, a Grade 9 student at Ballenas Secondary School, also represented Zone 6. Cassidy competed in the Level 4 Division and finished a very respectable fourth place overall.
