There will be a pub night fundraiser for the Oceanside Generals Midget Rep hockey team on Saturday, January 25, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the French Creek Marine Pub.

A $20 dollar ticket gets you beef on a bun and a beer and a chance at winning meat draws, 50/50 draws and there will be a silent auction as well. There will be live entertainment too and all the proceeds will go to the hockey players to offset the increased costs of playing competitive hockey.

If anyone would like to make a donation for the silent auction or purchase tickets to the event, give Darlene MacDonald a call at 250-954-8528 or e-mail darlmac@hotmail.com.
