Oceanside Minor Lacrosse is looking for new players this Saturday, August 15.

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. at Springwood Field in Parksville, and Oceanside Minor Lacrosse is putting on a skills and drills day (from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.) for all players ages seven and up.

“It’s an exciting game,” OML coach Cam Miller said. “We’re encouraging anyone that might be interested to come to this session and learn more about the game of field lacrosse. We’ve had teams in the past in the Oceanside area and we’d love to kick start it all again.”

With no field lacrosse last year, OML is pushing hard to re-start the game. Anyone looking to join or wanting more information can visit the Oceanside Minor Lacrosse Association website at www.oceansidelacrosse.com.
