Pro beach volleyball on this weekend

Pro teams will be in Parksville to compete at the Pro 2-0n-2 Beach Volleyball Tournament this weekend.

It will take place on Saturday at the Community Park in Parksville with pool play to start at 10 a.m. Teams from all over Vancouver Island and the Mainland are expected to be competing in this one-day event, which is part of the Volleyball BC Pro Beach Tour.

The Parksville tournament is the second of the five event tour that started with the Kits Classic last month. Tour events will also take place in Vancouver and Pentciton.

Teams will be vying for event title and also for the tour championship crown.
