The Oceanside Youth Football Association is offering two new programs this year.
An Oceanside Lions Crossfit is being offered to team members. The program will focus on strength training and conditioning with some of the components designed for football.
It will be held every Wednesday, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., starting Jan. 11 at Unit 101-166 First Ave. W. Due to limited space, registration is on first come, first serve basis. For more information and to register contact oyfa.treasurer1@gmail.com.

Those aiming to play for the Oceanside Lions this year, registration for spring football opens on on Jan. 15. Games start in April. The OYFA will provide equipment.
A flag football program is added this year and is geared towards helping atom players ages seven to 10 learn how to play football in a fun and non-contact manner. Practice is held every Thursday at Ballenas Secondary field.
Tackle football for peewee, ages 11-12 and junior bantams for ages 13-14 will hold practices every Tuesday and Thursday at Ballenas.
