Parksville’s Quality Foods Royals return home to the rock this weekend looking to right the ship.

In Abbotsford last Saturday for the front end of a four game mainland swing, the Royals were clubbed 8-0 by the Chiefs in the opener. Parksville regrouped and gave the hosts all they could handle in a 7-6 loss decided in extra innings.

In Langley on Sunday the Royals came up on the short end of 3-2, 2-1 finals against the league’s second place Blaze.

Now 2-8 in their last 10 games and sitting fifth in the 13-team BCPBL at 15-12, the Royals are in Victoria on Saturday for a double header against the 17-7, Mariners and return home Sunday for a two-game set against the 17-13 Chiefs. Game one goes at 11 a.m.
