This year’s SeaSoil Classic was wet, but that did little to dampen the competitive spirits of the big field that showed up to play, as they planted some great shots along way.

Hosted always by the Parksville Lawn Bowling Club, 16 teams of four took to the greens for the seventh annual, which doubles as a fundraiser for Oceanside Hospice Society.

Results were not available at Monday’s press time.
