Two Parksville Qualicum Beach area businesses took home first place at the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Torch Awards on Nov. 2.
Parksville’s M&N Mattress Shop Ltd. won in the Sales and Service category while Qualicum Beach’s X 2 Lewis Modern Home Renovations won the Home Improvement category.

“Businesses were nominated by their customers and their peers for their commitment to trust and ethics, and exceptional customer service,” said Rosalind Scott, president and CEO of BBB serving Vancouver Island, in a press release. This isn’t the first award M&N Mattress has received from the Better Business Bureau serving Vancouver Island. In 2015, the business won an award for community engagement and in 2017 they won for customer service.
