The 100 Oceanside Men Who Give a Damn group has chosen Operation Freedom Paws Canada (Parksville) to be the recipients of its quarterly $10,000 donation.
A $10,000 cheque was presented by Matt Breedlove to Barb Ashmead, executive director of Operation Freedom Paws Canada, a non-profit organization that matches dogs with individuals who have Post Traumatic Stress, Complex-Post Traumatic Stress and/or Traumatic Brain Injury symptoms, or other physical, neurological, psychological or mobility needs.

Members of 100 Oceanside Men Who Give A Damn donate $100 quarterly to a selected local charity voted on by the group. All individual $100 donations ($400 each per year) are given federal tax receipts by the charitable organization which receives the quarterly collective total of $10,000.
