Two PQB area charitable organizations have received sizeable donations from 100+ Women Who Care Oceanside.

The Parksville Qualicum Adult Literacy Program and the SD69 Errington Elementary School Meals Program were each given cheques for $16,250, for a total of $32,500.

The two organizations received the most votes at a meeting of the 100+ Women Who Care Oceanside last month.
