The Christmas Committee is hoping to transform Oceanside into a Christmas destination for residents and visitors for six weeks this holiday season and are looking for information from anyone planning on holding a Christmas event or activity in Oceanside.
Popular events currently include The Bethlehem Walk, Milner Christmas Magic and Kris Kringle Craft Market and new events being discussed could see a Winter Wonderland, A Christmas Heritage Village and a Light up in Parksville’s downtown core.
The committee is working on a mass marketing plan to begin this summer promoting the area at Christmas and want to include other plans in the works for this season.
