Come and meet the raptors of the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre this month during their raptor presentations in the learning centre.

President of the centre, Sylvia Campbell, said it’s always a surprise who comes out but it will be either one of their barred owls, saker falcon and/or bald eagle. Visitors can learn all about the birds from volunteers at centre, as well as from a Green Teen volunteer.

“It’s a learning experience and it’s great that they can see these animals close up,” Campbell said, “it’s really lots of fun.”

Visitors can enter the learning centre with their regular admission. For more information visit www.niwra.org.
