Canada Day: Virtual celebrations in Parksville Qualicum Beach

WATCH: Video features variety of July 1 entertainment

With COVID-19 restrictions hampering plans for the usual July 1 celebrations in Parksville Qualicum Beach, you can still celebrate a ‘Virtual Canada Day’.

The Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce Visitor Centre has produced a video featuring a Canada Day parade, Thrifty Foods Parksville cake-cutting, entertainment and a virtual fireworks display. Watch the video below or visit Shaw TV airing the program at 9:30 a.m., noon, 6 p.m. and 6 p.m., channel 4 or 105.
