A charity fashion show and dance are planned in Qualicum Beach on Nov. 10, with all proceeds going to the District 69 Backpack program.
The Champagne Boutique Charity Fashion Show starts at 6 p.m. at Qualicum Beach Community Hall, followed by a dance from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The backpack program aims to ensure children and families do not go hungry during the weekends. Every Thursday, backpacks full of healthy food staples are either sent home with a student or delivered to the home.

The evening will include a cash bar, silent auction, balloon pop game and a wall of wine.
Tickets for the fashion show and dance are $50 and are available at the Champagne Boutique or call 250-752-1828 to reserve. Tickets for just the dance are also available for $30.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
