False Bay students fare well in Remembrance Day Poster Contest

Trio of students produce top-3 category showings

Three False Bay School students produced top-3 category finishes in the recent Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day Poster Contest.

The Legion hosts a Youth Remembrance Contests every year to promote Remembrance Day through creative art and writing.

And this year, through the Mount Arrowsmith Royal Canadian Legion Branch 49 contest, the False Bay School students did well. Ilah Dryburgh, 11, placed second in the junior colour category; Cruz Moen, 10, earned third place honours in the junior black and white category; and Vida Violini, 13, landed second place in the intermediate black and white category.
