Qualicum Beach Rotary Club will again stage the ‘Field of Crosses’, beginning Nov. 2, in conjunction with Remembrance Day
This will be the third year the Rotary is holding this event in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 that is geared towards honoring Parksville Qualicum Beach veterans from the First and Second World Wars.
The memorial crosses will be erected and on display on the grassy area of Memorial Drive at the railroad tracks. A ceremony will be conducted by the Qualicum Beach Legion.
Town council has granted permission for the organizers to stage the event again.
The public is invited to come and visit the display.
