Finalists have been announced for the Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce’s annual Community Awards.
Awards will be presented at a gala event on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre. Each year the Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce honours individuals and businesses for their contribution to the community following a nomination period.
During the nomination period, residents and visitors are encouraged to nominate businesses and individuals they consider deserving of recognition. The nominees for this year’s Qualicum Beach Community Awards are:

The recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award sponsored by PQ Community Foundation is Bill Luchtmeijer.
The Lifetime Achievement award strives to recognize an individual in Qualicum Beach that has, among other things helped foster business growth, shown a strong commitment to the community, has a history of volunteerism, demonstrates success and excellence and serves as a role model.
