Forward House in Parksville receives community donation

2 local grocery stores raised $5,236.50 from customer donations

Forward House in Parksville will benefit thanks to donations collected by two grocery stores this past September, which is recovery month.

Quality Foods and Save-On-Foods together raised $5,236.50 from donations at the till.

Forward House works with community members to nurture mental wellness and addiction recovery through creative programs, relevant education and community partnerships.

The organization recently opened a new centre in Parksville to help people dealing with addiction and substance use, located at 129 Alberni Hwy.
