Organizers of the upcoming Beach Day event in Qualicum Beach are expressing confidence in the weather for the inaugural version of what they hope will become an annual attraction for the town.
They don’t have a crystal ball, but they do know that the law of averages is with them and July 21 is statistically one of the most likely to have sunny weather in the entire calendar.
Because of this, it might be a good idea for participants — and there should be many — taking precautions to avoid burning.
