Manna Ministries' Robin Campbell will speak at two upcoming community forums on homelessness about his close perspective on the local issue.
"In winter no matter what the weather is, it is difficult for the less fortunate of our community," he said in a news release. "Once you are wet it is very hard to become warm even when the weather improves. "
The two March 22 forums are presented by the Oceanside Task Force on Homelessness to delve into the issue and possible solutions.
There is a daytime session at 11 a.m. at the Christian Fellowship Centre in Qualicum Beach and one at 5 p.m. at the Parksville Conference and Convention Centre so people can attend the most convenient one.
