Exquisite bouquets were discovered all over the region last Thursday as the Mid Island Floral Arts Club decided to pay it forward.

It was called Lonely Bouquet project, an event that will be celebrated in places around the world on June 29, but MIFAC put their bouquets out last week following their meeting.

“The club ladies made 24 bouquets that we put around the area to pay it forward and maybe make someone's day better,” said Joanne Hamilton from MIFAC.

The bouquets were left in places like nursing homes, banks, and park benches with a note saying: Adopt me Please.

The note when on to ask people to leave a message on Facebook or email how the flowers made them feel.
