A grand opening for a new local music academy is taking place Saturday, Sept. 6.
Raines Music Academy features a number of teaching rooms, an audio and video recording studio and a music store.
People can come during the open house from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 436 Martindale Rd. in Parksville.
Both the store and music lessons for all ages are available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
