Navy Day sailed back to Qualicum Beach Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 after a two year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The weather brought fears of how big the crowd would be, but over 140 retired sailors from all over Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland and other parts of Canada made their way to Qualicum Beach despite the snow event.

Navy Day has been an institution at the Qualicum Beach Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 for approximately 27 years, where sailors come to reminisce about their time spent serving our country, with many a story to tell.

The pride they displayed while they were serving is still as strong as ever, as they met with old shipmates who they sailed with all over the world representing Canada.
