Three generations of the Nicholls family joined Ballenas Senior Secondary students, representatives from the City of Parksville, MLA Michelle Stilwell and other community leaders for the formal dedication of Nicholls Park June 4. Meagan Gwilt (from left), Julie Burridge, Lauri Gwilt and Margie Graaten who are all related to Len Nicholls who the park is named after thanked the Ballenas Civics Action Group that led the revitalization at the corner of Pym Street and Newcastle Avenue.
