The three local branches of the Royal Canadian Legion, Mount Arrowsmith (Parksville), Qualicum Beach and Bowser, each hosted their respective Poppy Flag raising ceremonies on Friday (Oct. 27).

From now until Remembrance Day, volunteers will be in key locations with poppies for the public by donation.
