Photography class in Parksville

MAC hosting one last workshop for ages 8-12 on Aug. 9-12

The McMillan Arts Centre is offering one last class for the summer through their School for the Creative Arts.

Creative Photography with Kyra Kelpin runs Aug. 9-12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the MAC (133 McMillan St., Parksville). The class is for 8-12 year olds and is $110 for the four days.

The class mixes technical skill and creative energy to explore both ideas and environments. The projects include still-life photography, point-of-view, photo assemblage collage and more.
