Qualicum Beach dentists see 82 patients on Free Dental Day

Individuals could receive either a free cleaning, filling or extraction

Qualicum Beach’s Arbutus Dental Clinic helped put smiles on people’s faces during Free Dental Day on Oct. 20.

The clinic provided 82 individuals with either a free cleaning, filing or extraction.

During their first Free Dental Day in 2016, the clinic saw close to 70 patients.

Dr. Francis LaCouvee and Dr. Simon Gooch said giving back to the community is at the heart of this initiative. They said Free Dental Day couldn’t be possible without the support of their staff who all came in on a Saturday to help out.
