The 19th Annual Qualicum Beach Seedy Saturday (QBSS) event will take place on Feb. 4 at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre (747 Jones St.).
The event provides an opportunity for people to gain gardening knowledge, as well as access to heritage seeds, plants and garden-related supplies and tools. This will be the first QBSS since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the seed swap room, attendees will be able to share their saved seeds with other local gardeners, or buy seeds at a low cost.
Plants and related goods will be for sale and master gardeners will be on hand to help people with their gardening problems. Seed catalogues will also be available.
There will be a 50-50 draw to support the QBSS Association. The Seedy Cafe will be open for lunch, snacks and beverages.
