The Qualicum Weavers and Spinners Guild’s annual sale is set for Nov. 17 and Nov. 18.

The ‘Elegant Threads’ sale is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., both days, at a new location of St. Stephen’s United Church (150 Village Way), according to a news release. Parking will be available off Village Way.

“It features high quality unique items, hand-spun yarns, art clothing and accessories,” the release said. “This free event also includes demonstrations, the popular silent auction including hand-crafted items and an assortment of surprises as well as the opportunity to meet the makers in a relaxed atmosphere.”

The wide variety of items are hand-woven, hand-knitted, hand-spun, felted and hand-dyed.

These items include scarves, shawls, blankets (including baby blankets), rugs, clothing, toques, mittens, and socks.
