SOS meets with federal minister

Group details the work they have done to help people in District 69

Society of Organized Services directors recently gathered to welcome visiting Social Development minister Stephanie Cadieux.

Edith Chamberlayne, a founding member, gave the Minister a brief tour back through time, describing the humble beginnings of SOS, an organization which now helps thousands each year.

The visiting minister was impressed with the long list of SOS programs and services, which are primarily supported by members of the community.
