NANOOSE BAY — On Sat., Sept. 29, a fun-filled charity golf tournament organized by Nanoose Community Services is being held at Fairwinds Golf Club.
Nanoose Community Services provides a week’s groceries once a month for low income individuals and families living in the area.
The director of the organization, Virginia Brucker, says the generosity of local business and individuals makes a real difference in the lives of those who use the food bank or access other services through Nanoose Community Services.
