Toastmasters Parksville member Hamilton wins prestigious speech contest

Winner now advances to regional contest

Molly Hamilton, a member of the Arbutus Toastmasters Club in Parksville, has won the 2022 Toastmasters International Speech Contest for District 21.

District 21 has 3,250 members and 119 clubs. With the win, Hamilton now advances to the regional contest with results to be announced in early July.

If Hamilton prevails at the regional level, she will compete in the semifinals to be held Aug. 17-20 in conjunction with the Toastmasters International conference in Nashville, Tenn.

Toastmasters International is a worldwide non-profit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.
