PARKSVILLE - More than 30 horses and their riders rode through the streets of Parksville Sun., Nov. 20 on their annual Toy Ride.
The event, which saw the riders take their charges through the downtown area and the Stanford Place seniors facility parking lot, raised toy donations for the Society of Organized Services' Christmas is for Kids campaign.
The event was expected to run 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - with all of the horses ending the Toy Ride at the SOS parking lot off of Macmillan Street.
