Watercolour of Mark Watson. (Dave Davies photo)

PQB News reader Dave Davies shares this image of Qualicum Beach’s Mark Watson, recently honoured for his 30 years of service for the Qualicum Beach Fire Department.

“Thanks for giving Mark Watson deserved coverage on his 30 years service with the local fire department,” said Davies. “Mark wanted me to paint him in his uniform. I took a photo of him in his cap looking so proud one day when he was working at QF and did a watercolour as a gift for him.”

Nicely done, Dave.
