Parksville’s Civic and Technology Centre will once again set the stage for a Hallmark Channel series.
‘Chesapeake Shores’ will film at the centre from Monday, May 17, through mid-day on Wednesday, May 19. Filming will take place outside, to the south and back of the building along the roadway and grassy hill.
Beginning the evening of May 17 through to noon on May 19, a portion of the gravel lot at Jensen Avenue and Craig Street will be reserved for ‘Chesapeake Shores’ vehicles. Public parking will be also available in this lot. On May 18, several of the parking spaces on Craig Street alongside the PCTC building will not be available for public parking.
The centre will be open as usual for the public to access the city’s finance department. Finance will be open from 9 a.m. until noon, and then from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with entry access from Jensen Avenue East.
Masks are mandatory before entering the building.
The city is aware that filming may be an inconvenience for some; however, they are pleased to accommodate ‘Chesapeake Shores’ as the show films its fifth season in Parksville.
