Children’s Museum Day will return to Qualicum Beach on Aug. 20 after a two-year hiatus.
The free event will run from noon to 4 p.m. at the Qualicum Beach Museum Grounds (587 Beach Rd.), opposite the train station, according to a news release by the museum.
The afternoon will feature fun activities for kids, including pony rides, face painting, arts and crafts, spinning and weaving demonstrations and pioneer games. Free lemonade and cookies will also be provided.
“We are excited that this free event will be returning after a two-year hiatus due to COVID,” reads the release. “We are hoping to attract lots of community members to this fun filled, family-friendly event.”
The Qualicum Beach Museum is a non-profit, community-driven organization that seeks to preserve the history of the area and present it to the public in a fun and educational way.
