Folk night at the MAC with Dreamyth

MACoustic Cafe continues with live music this Friday, as Dreamyth from Gabriola Island comes to town.

Dreamyth is a quartet which performs an eclectic mix of American, European, Roma, Sephardic, Gypsy and Celtic folk as well as original songs and tunes.  Dreamyth opened the open mic segment of the MACoustic cafe in September.

On Friday, the audience may hear a fiddle tune, a soulful French waltz, a sweet ballad about unicorns, or a mournful Sephardic love song, among a host of other entertaining numbers. Coffee, tea, and baking by MACquackers is available. The event takes place October 18 at 7:30 p.m., cover is $10 at the door. The MAC is located at 133 McMillan St. in Parksville.
