The final concert in the Old School House (TOSH) Arts Centre’s Summer Garden Music Festival is set for Friday, Aug. 19.
Jazz trumpet player Chris Davis will play at 7 p.m.
The concert location, a spacious Qualicum Beach garden, will be sent to ticket holders upon purchase, according to a news release by TOSH (122 Fern Rd W).
Davis has more than 20 years of professional experience and has worked with many of North America’s finest musicians, such as Sharon Jones, John Legend, the Isley Brothers, the Four Tops, Jon Batiste, Michael Bublé and Barry Manilow.
He is the leader of the Chris Davis Jazztet and also works with Orbert Davis’ Chicago Jazz Philharmonic as a trumpeter in the orchestra and as a teacher for various youth programs.

Guests are asked to dress for the weather, bring their own chairs, water and snacks. There is no bathroom access at this venue.
Tickets are $35 plus GST and non-refundable. It will be festival seating.
Guests are asked to arrive between 6:30 p.m. and 6:50 p.m., the concert will run from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
