Tickets go on sale for popular Errington Hall spectacle, Night at the Palace Jan. 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Errington Hall. Three shows will take place Feb. 21, 22 and 23.
Between the 1880s and the 1930s, Vaudeville was a popular variety show that offered a series of different acts ranging from musical, comedy, magical, burlesque, plays, impersonators, and acrobatics to name a few. Today, a modern revival of the popular theatrical productions is presented to you through the 9th annual A NIGHT AT THE PALACE.
For the last 9 years performers have been offering new takes on the old, old takes on the new and everything in between. As the Errington War Memorial Hall’s biggest fund raising event, past shows have included knife jugglers, the Can Can, a love struck gorilla, angels swinging from above, bumbling magicians, rainbow tassel twirl, and who can forget the Bubble Boys? Each year is unique and promises lots of fun, diversity and laughter. We can also boast to having the most amazing and talented live band playing all of the music for the evening.
The hall is decorated in the style of the 1920’s and audience members are encouraged to dress up – don’t hold anything back! The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 and go on sale January 20th at the Errington War Memorial Hall from 1-3pm, with a limit of four per person. If there are any tickets left over they will be available for sale at the Errington General Store.
