According to the club producer, Mick Sherlock, both performers have backgrounds and experience in either logging or mining, adding authenticity to songs which touches on the industrial history of the area.

“We are very excited to be back. It seems like we have been closed forever. We are celebrating by showcasing mostly Vancouver Island acts this season, giving voice to lots of local performers from Nanaimo, Courtenay, Victoria, and several of the islands. It’ s been a long slog and these folks need to perform,” said Sherlock.

For ticket information for Friday’s performance, patrons can call 403-608-7280, email micksherlock58@gmail.com, or follow the club’s Facebook page.
