Ride the Cyclone

Nanaimo-A smash hit musical making waves across the country will make a stop in Nanaimo next week, and it’s got a local connection.

Ride the Cyclone is a successful theatrical production co-composed by KSS graduate Brooke Maxwell, who is also the musical director for the show.

The production won Toronto’s Dora Award for best touring production and has been optioned for Broadway. It has been described as “an astonishing trip to both heaven and hell”  by the Vancouver Sun. The show will make its last stop on a Canadian tour at Vancouver Island University’s Malaspina Theatre, presented by TheatreOne, April 25 through 29.
