Parksville’s third annual Uncorked Wine and Food Festival begins this Thursday, kicking off with an “Untapped” event at Tigh-Na Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre.
This event showcases local breweries and feature beers paired with regional cuisine from Tigh-Na-Mara and The Beach Club Resort.
Uncorked features four other events at the two resorts over the weekend, including the signature event Swirl, where festival-goers will experience a host of exquisite B.C. wines and gourmet dishes.
Natasha Richardson, director of sales and marketing at The Beach Club, shared what she was most excited about this weekend.
“Showcasing the Oceanside region, its beauty, its beaches, its community, paired with showcasing the quality British Columbia has to offer in wine and culinary experiences,” she said.
Uncorked ends Sunday morning with a Bubbles and Brunch event. Last year’s festival events sold out, check the website for sold out events this year.
