LETTER: Don’t humiliate people for wearing masks

A young woman in our household recently went for coffee at a downtown shop.

While ordering a coffee, with her mask on, a woman beside her started belittling her for wearing a mask. She then told her she had best start using cream on her face because the cream would ruin her complexion.

Sounds a little bit like the residents in the southern United States last month and look at their health situation now.

If your personal vanity leads to unhealthy decisions in your life and those around you, the choice is yours.

But don’t embarrass or humiliate those who care about themselves and all others around them.
