I note there is no proposal or options to improve the Malahat based on not enough fatalities. This is madness of the highest order.
Unfortunately there will always be fatalities; the issue is movement of vehicles and goods and the inconvenience to the general populous. But what about some movable barriers that can be utilized at various points allowing passage in both directions while a “fatality” is recorded?
This idea is so simple it will never be considered or implemented. And what about up here at Nanoose?
