The Qualicum Beach Museum invites you to join in its favourite event of the year — Children’s Museum Day.
This free event will include fun activities from noon to 4 p.m. on Aug. 19 on the museum grounds (587 Beach Rd.).
The afternoon will feature Lucky the Party Pony, plus live music by the Old Time Fiddlers and Sylvia Humble.
Activity stations will include First Nations early learning, arts and crafts, nature, “guess the museum artifact”, old fashioned toy making, boat building, fossil rubbing, origami, face painting, a “pollination station” and more.

Demonstrations from local groups will include North Island Wildlife Recovery, Spinners and Weavers, Streamkeepers, Butterfly World and Nanaimo Science.
It will be a great event for families with young children.
The Qualicum Beach Museum is a non-profit, community-driven organization that seeks to preserve the history of the area and present it to the public in a fun and educational way.
