Red Cod Forge Gallery and Affinity Stone Jewellery will have its annual Christmas Crawl as part of the Nanoose Bay Studio Tour on Dec. 2 and Dec. 3.

The gallery at 2155 Spurs Pl. in Nanoose Bay will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dave Kasprick and Debra Kasprick will help out Nanoose Bay Community Services by donating 10 per cent of sales.

This year, they are also collecting items such as toques, gloves and socks for Manna Homeless Society.

“Robin Campbell, who created the much needed resource, will help us with the dispersal of collected items through the community,” Dave Kasprick said.

Everyone who makes a purchase in the gallery or donates an item will have their name entered into a draw for an original piece of Red Cod Forge art.

There will be demonstrations on both days in the forge, by guest blacksmith James Oliver. Kasprick has been in the blacksmith trade for more than 15 years — he brings in a guest blacksmith for the weekend so he is able to meet people and answer questions in the gallery.

The studio tour also includes Phoenix Gallery, Fine Art Ceramics, Phillips Pottery, Knut Pottery Plus, Studio at 3397 Bradner Circle, Katherine Meredith Art Studio, Clay and Brush Studio and Russell Bardak – Ken JR Woodworks. For more information, go to https://nbst.ca/.
