The Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir will be in Parksville for two concerts on April 6 and April 7.
The acclaimed Celtic choir enjoys performing a wide repertoire of traditional and contemporary choral music.
This auditioned men’s choir is by professional musicians sings in the Welsh tradition of four part harmony.
The performances reflect a Celtic heritage, but the choir enjoys stretching the boundaries of tradition to be inclusive of new music and the broad range of ethnicities that comprise its members. Motivated by a shared passion to create music that is warming, resounding and infectious, the choir loves having fun with music, with each other and with its audiences.
The group had such a great time last spring in Parksville that there will be two shows in the city.

The April 6 concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and the April 7 show starts at 1:30 p.m. Doors will open a half-hour prior to both concerts.
Tickets are $35 and available online via Eventbrite, as well as at Parksville retailers Close to You Boutique and Fireside Books.
This year the choir has added a free workshop on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
