RCMP identify suspect in Parksville break-in

Oceanside RCMP have identified the suspect in a Parksville break-in last month.

The investigation is ongoing with charges anticipated to be recommended to Crown Counsel, according to a news release by RCMP. Police thanked the public for their assistance.

Sgt. Shane Worth reported, in a previous news release, that during the late evening of Aug. 7 a woman broke into a show home located in the 500 block of Rainbow Way in Parksville and stole various items from inside the home.

The suspect’s image was recorded on video surveillance, however investigators were unable to positively identify her at the time and asked for the public’s assistance.
