2 more all-candidates meetings scheduled in Parksville Qualicum Beach

Two more all-candidates meetings are set for the Parksville Qualicum Beach area in anticipation of the Oct. 15 municipal elections.

The Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 3 at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre (747 Jones St.). Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

It is open to both chamber business members and the general public. Any questions must be written.

Candidates will have three minutes for an opening presentation, followed by a question and answer period. Questions will be submitted in writing pre-event and during the event. Host Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce will collect questions from the audience and sort them into categories to be asked by the moderator. The candidate that the question is addressed to will have one minute for an answer and then other candidates wishing to respond to the question will have one minute to answer.

The Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce all candidates meeting is set for Oct. 4 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Winchelsea Place (140 Renz Rd.). Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
